“Eighty-nine percent (89%) of Republicans are angry with the government’s current policies, which is perhaps not surprising with the White House and Congress both in Democratic hands. But 78% of voters not affiliated with either major party agree.

Sixty-one percent (61%) of Democrats share that anger, but Republicans are three times as likely as Democrats to be Very Angry.”

Specifically, they are angry at current policies.  This puts to bed Obama’s claim that Americans are simply mad about “the process”, it also puts to bed the idea that the angry folks are just those “teabagging, homophobic racists”. The report goes on to say that Americans do not believe either party understands the current problems facing the country.

“The process” Obama refers to is not perfect…not by a long shot, but many voters are currently thanking God there *is* a process. Had big Government bills been any easier to pass at the end of last year, we’d have ObamaCare by now. The fact that systems exist to put the brakes on huge policies gave voters a chance to put Scott Brown in office.

The next time Obama tells us that “most Americans want health care reform”, don’t believe it. Remember, Scott Brown ran on the primary platform of being vote# 41 against the bill.
