    No Country For Obama

By Wes Keene | March 27, 2010 | In Category: General, Political Parties

America took a bold and mistaken step in 2008, by trusting the stated agenda of Obama and the Democrats. It didn’t take long to learn we’d been foiled. Obama and his party will soon learn that while we’re a trusting people who are willing to give change a try, we won’t tolerate a dismal failure forever. Democrats’ fates are quickly being sealed by the radical actions of Obama and the Democrat leadership in Congress. Certainly, voters will correct these mistakes in 2010, and again in 2012.

    Fifteen Obama Recess Appointments

By Wes Keene | March 27, 2010 | In Category: General

Like broken promises, every President makes recess appointments. Every President since Washington, in fact. While the Constitutionally authorized technique garners a lot of media attention, they aren’t particularly glamorous, and aren’t a major power grab for the Executive Branch. Obama’s appointment of Becker to the NLRB may ruffle feathers, but there’s no legal problem with using a recess appointment to get Becker in.

Obama Administration Trips Up On Israel

By Wes Keene | March 22, 2010 | In Category: General

Slightly less startling than Obama’s domestic agenda is his ineptitude on foreign policy. Relying almost exclusively on his personal charm, Obama seems to be without a plan when that charm fails. The situation in Iran has not changed despite Obama’s engagement and diplomacy. Worse, his recent critiques of Isreal call into question whether or not Obama is interested in continuing to work with our long time allies.

The Most Dangerous Government In US History

By admin | March 16, 2010 | In Category: General, Health Care

It’s normal to get irritated by the goings on of Washington. It’s even normal to fear the actions of certain government officials. What isn’t normal is to watch tyrannical government officials flaunting their power over you. It isn’t normal to watch the governing document of this land be shredded before our eyes while smug leaders tell us it’s all for our benefit.

    Pure Media Bias

By Wes Keene | March 11, 2010 | In Category: General

With so much bias in the media, no wonder revenues are down. People don’t expect reporters to have no bias. In fact, a little personality is a really good thing for writers to have. You can’t leave the facts out to make your case, however. Here we discuss one real world example of Presidential reporting gone awry.

    Obama’s Lackluster Focus On Jobs

By Wes Keene | March 10, 2010 | In Category: Economy, General

We have a couple trillian bucks for an unpopular health care plan. We’ve got money to turn Thompson correctional facility in IL into Gitmo north. We have bailout money and stimulus money that does anything but stimulate. So where’s that new focus on jobs anyway?

    Iraqi Disinterest

By Wes Keene | March 7, 2010 | In Category: National Security

As Iraq celebrates a mostly peaceful election today, Obama was forced to talk about it. Perhaps admitting a string of Republican decisions in Iraq have finally begun to pan out just isn’t appealing to him.

    Health Care Summit Accomplishes Nothing

By Wes Keene | February 26, 2010 | In Category: Health Care

The GOP succumbed to the media pressure to attend the health care summit. It worked out about like predicted here. Nothing has changed except the viciousness of the threats coming from the President. Obama didn’t win either, though.

    Hell Freezes Over

By Wes Keene | February 24, 2010 | In Category: National Security

This just in…Hell freezes over. Obama admin official uses the word “terror” to describe terror.

    No Turnaround On Economy

By Wes Keene | February 22, 2010 | In Category: Economy

Obama has spent countless time supporting a health care reform package the public simply doesn’t want. During the State Of The Union address we were told there would be a new focus on jobs…but where is it?
