Watching news media can be so confusing. Sometimes we fail to understand the nuanced, eloquent delivery of anchors and reporters. This guide aims to help you make sense of it all. The document here is living. As news events evolve, no doubt the liberal lingo will, too. This document will reflect those changes.
- Moderate: Liberal
- Liberal: Communist
- Right-wing: Republican
- Extremist: 1) Terrorist 2) Any Tea Party member
- Homophobe: One who opposes gay marriage
- Racist: One who disagrees with Obama
- Wealthiest Americans: People with enough money to pay their mortgages.
- Greedy Business: Business that survives without government welfare
- Fat-cats: People that work for greedy businesses
- Green job: Fictitious job in a fictitious industry
- Consensus: When people abandon their principles and agree to liberalism
- Communism: A misunderstood but benevolent form of government
- Capitalism: See “Greedy business” above
- Military: Murderous but necessary evildoers
- Undocumented immigrants: Illegal aliens
- Reform: Hostile takeover by government
- Fair: Rich people pay everything for poor people
- Unfair: Rich people can keep some of their money
- Jobs Bill: Stimulus cash giveaway
- Corporate Accountability: Heavy handed, business crippling regulation brought about through a bailout
- Provide health care: Ruin health care system for people who pay to use it.
